Granny Smith Festival
NSW SES Ryde Unit will once again have a large involvement at this major Sydney festival. At 9:00am there will be a large street parade through Eastwood, many free entertainment stages, heaps of stalls, childrens rides, lots of activities and food stalls. Make sure to visit the very popular SES Ryde Community Engagement display in Rowe Street near the intersection of The Avenue and chat to our friendly SES volunteers in orange about how to be better prepare for emergencies. The event ends in the evening with a massive fireworks display best viewed from the lower Eastwood oval. Plan your trip to this large event which attracts about 100,000 people.
