Look Out For Each Other

Looking out for your neighbours, friends and family during a storm

Before a storm hits, make sure your networks know of the warnings and are prepared. Also check with neighbours and assist them with preparations if you can.

Safety is the first priority during a storm and following your emergency plan is important.

Sheltering in a secure place during a storm is the best way to keep yourself, your family and your pets safe.

One of the best ways to look out for others is to not go sightseeing in areas affected by storms. There may be a lot of damage with power-lines and tress down, which can be dangerous for you. Visiting these areas can also hamper emergency services, who will be busy responding and making safe any damage sustained by the storm.
