NSW SES has issued an ALL CLEAR for Tweed River

The Operational response of the NSW SES continues to ease as the event transitions into the recovery phase. So far NSW SES has received a total of 2914 jobs since the commencement of this weather event on 28/03/2017. This includes a total of 495 Flood Rescues.

Locations with the greatest impact due to flooding include:

  • Lismore City 758 jobs
  • Murwillumbah 532 jobs
  • Tweed Heads 240 jobs
  • Mullumbimby 205 jobs

The Tweed River is now receding and as a result the NSW SES has issued an ALL CLEAR for the residents of the affected areas. This means that it is now safe to return.

A Final Minor Flood Warning for the Richmond River and a Minor Flood Warning for the Weir River are current. To view all weather warnings across NSW visit the Bureau of Meteorology's website.
